Remember to vote on Tuesday November 4, 2008 in the General Election.  Check with the Travis County Clerk's office for voting locations and time.  Polls will be open from 7am - 7pm.

The 427th District Court will try criminal proceedings in Travis County, Texas. It is one of Texas' newest state district courts, created by an act of the 79th Legislature effective January 1, 2007.

Travis County is served by 17 district courts: 10 for civil matters and seven for criminal matters. Judge Jim Coronado has served as the appointed magistrate for Travis County's criminal district courts since 1991. He now seeks to serve as the elected judge of the 427th.
